We measured an illumination of only 76% there. However, the extreme difference to the older Spectre 13 is striking. HP's Spectre 13 can outperform some rivals clearly here. The screen's brightness is not reduced in battery mode (384 cd/m²). Only the screen in the MacBook Pro 13 2016 is much brighter, with 542 cd/m². With an average screen brightness of 382 cd/m², HP's Spectre 13 takes the second place. Our review sample presents fairly decent measuring results.
